Join us from 4:30 - 8:30 PM at the FilCom courtyard for an afternoon/evening filled with music, dance, spoken word and more!
FREE and open to the public!
Every last Sunday of the month the FilCom Center holds “FilCom Sundays,” where Community Partners are invited to co-host an event showcasing different aspects of Filipino culture, such as performances or activities.
In efforts to offer more programs for our community’s youth and young adults, July’s FilCom Sunday, “Kundiman,” will be a celebration of youth, culture, and community building through various art forms.
Kundiman is the Tagalog word for Filipino love songs. Under colonial rule, it was developed into a secret method of expression for one’s love of country and desired freedom.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or if you would like to be involved in “Kundiman.”
